Detailed description of the works I have a Dell notebook with Windows 7. Basically when I turn on the laptop, I see a black screen and a status bar that says "windows is loading files"- it pretty much stays on that screen and wont open at all. I had internet explorer issues for some unknown reason previously (only on internet explorer but not google chrome) so I recovered/restored the machine to a week ago- and its not right since. Pressed F8 a number of times and that gave me option to restart in a number of modes- but no joy, still getting the Loading all files screen
